The Messiah complex is a psychological state in which the individual believes that he is or is destined to be a spiritual savior, in some specific field of activity, group, event, or around a certain situation, or even encompassing all of humanity or all forms of life.

By experiencing this Messiah complex, the person affected achieves his own glory and has absolute confidence in his abilities and his own destiny, as well as in the effects that his participation would have on a group of people or aspect of life. In some cases, the Messiah complex could be associated with schizophrenia, a condition in which the person hears voices, and has hallucinations that convince him that he saw and/or spoke with God, with spirits, with angels or witches or devils, and/or with other people who are already dead or absent, which in the opinion of the affected person, these things would confirm his own messiahship.


In the most serious cases, the affected person may see himself as the incarnation of a god, or as a religious-spiritual messiah with important transcendent powers, and predestined to save humanity, living beings or to grant eternal life to a chosen group. 


  In the United States of America, supporters of former President Donald Trump do great harm by trying to saddle him with the title of Messiah. Former President Trump has been the best president of the United States in the first quarter of this 21st century, who with his MAGA ideas (Make America Great Again) did an excellent job as President for this country in his first term and it is logical that his supporters want his re-election, and as long as he maintains the Constitutional rhythm of democracy, this country has been the leader of the free world with its model of Democracy; On the other hand, his political detractors, the media, the opposition political party , and the popular artists and idols of culture and sports forget that as "role model" figures they should keep their political preferences private because the crowds follow them and create instability, something that had always been taken care of in cultural and sporting events in the United States and out of courtesy and requirements of disclosure and transmission, not even on television media did such figures of culture and sports do in interviews, since they were not allowed to engage in political proselytism; Pope Francis, leader of the Catholic Church, has criticized him for raising walls, the Evangelical Churches, which together are the majority of Christians in the United States, the country with the largest number of Christians in the world, for the most part support President Donald Trump, errors of the mass radio media in South Florida incorrectly interpreted that Pope Francis had called President Trump The Devil during his Presidency.
