Lord, make me an instrument of peace
Where there is hate, I put love
Where there is offense, forgiveness
Where there is discord, union.
Where there is error, Truth.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope
Where there is darkness, your light.
Where there is sadness, happiness
Let me not seek to be consoled, as to console.
To be understood, like to understand.
To be loved, like to love.
Because by giving, you receive;
forgetting, it is found;
by forgiving, forgiveness is achieved;
dying, one is resurrected to eternal life.
