With wisdom deep in heart, and teachings full of light,

He brought the art of kung fu, to guide monks in their fight.

In northern China's quiet halls, where Damo found his way,

He taught the monks to strengthen, and meditate each day.

The monks of Shaolin learned, to balance mind and might,

Through eighteen LouHan exercises, they mastered every fight.

From China, it spread on, to Korea, Japan's land,

In Vietnam, the knowledge grew, taught by monk's own hands.

With sticks as their protection, and movements strong yet fine,

The art of wushu flourished, changing names through time.
